For those that want precision running the right rolling stock into the right route, it would seem Erie Lackawanna operated lots of SD45 and SDP45 but not a single SD40-2. !!det!!

I was free roaming around the Ford plant yesterday, as you do, and driving out on the Ford Receiving 2 I found I had to pass through 5 or 6 brick walls! Something to touch up if you think anyone else will ever drive that way.

Otherwise everything looks good - very good.

My railway photos are back - you can access them from this thread viewtopic.php?f=24&t=21667a . Lots of UK steam and early diesels from the late 1950s and early 1960s.

EL sd40-2.JPG

This is supposed to be an EL SD40-2 and Lionel Trains has EL SD40-2 locos for sale. That`s good enough for me I will run them on this route. After all when I driving even though minerman made it it`s my world at the time. LOL

Ahhh, a fan of fictional "what ifs"...

Get yourself https://www.store.searchlight-simulatio ... ern-bundle for https://www.store.searchlight-simulatio ... ern-bundle

or get https://www.railworksamerica.com/index. ... e-repaints for the Kuju SD40-2. This repaint includes a kit for an ES44AC for "What if EL survived" theorists.

The Ford Plant and Mahwah are due for a rework- I have a building that we can 'tunnel' through the facility. The yard is on a flood plain for the Ramapo River and its elevation should be 1-2 meters lower than the plant grade. This will be one of the last places I rework. And thank you Alan -- keep telling people about this thing!

Better than this I prefer ScyFi BNSF ES44AC running along New Jersey.

Jalsina - Run ANYTHING ! One of my "features' of the route was to be photogenic. Isn't part of the fun of this game taking screen shots? So, if you can make it work on the route - whatever that might be - just do it!

Spin, that pack from XDriver was one of the first I ever downloaded. Then I needed to build an E-L Route to go with it ... and here we are!

I tweaked the nose herald and the cab numbers a little to suit my taste.

Gather around and you shall hare, this Wednesday's route update which has no peer!
That's right I said, where else can you go every single hump day a find something to read. Note, I didn't say interesting but hey its free. What were you expecting The New York Times?

Its been a good week. This morning I tested my last Eastbound QD in Otisville and it worked. Whoops, I forgot the update status for this Friday, January 17th, 2020.

( ) No Bueno !
( X) En Fuego !

Its so nice, when I achieve my self imposed goals BEFORE the update report. So now I can kick back with a Jameson's and type to my hearts content. Hoboken, the West End and Secaucus Juction - 3 interlockings that now all work. Not that they didnt before, well they kinda worked, but today they really do. So, on Friday on wards, you can kick back with you favorite beverage and try out our brand new (and improved) Eastbound and West Bound passenger Quick Drives. These QD's now segment the route enough where you dont have to spend 2.5 hours to go the end. Now you can pop in at a strategic location, get a quick one in before work or you have 30 minutes to kill. The star of the show for this release - once again its Hoboken (NOT A COPY OF DTGs WORK) *!lol!* . I find being surrounded by AI as I depart and arrive with proper signals to be very gratifying. I think you will too. If you agree come back here and let me know what you think.

A couple of points of order. First, I want to thank Kris120 for devoting hours and hours to not just locate problem areas but to correspond each issue with a screen shot, with handy comments and arrows on them. He is paid in full for his contribution. And he remembered that getting these errors fixed, and improvements made, will help make this route a favorite of scenario builders. ( I hope!) So, again kudos to Kris with all his messages and posts on this topic. Enjoy your fixes sir and thank you!

We made minimal scenery progress over the past month. Scenery work Westbound will resume immediately post update. What was accomplished was worth the effort.

For several years i have had issues with the track between Fairlawn and Hoboken and a dozen times previously doing track edits, I would have the track sink below grade for miles and miles necessitating a restore. This flaw also shook my faith that route would behave consistently for over 3000 subscribers. I am relieved to have corrected these issues prior to release of a final version. I dedicated my self to making the fixes, getting the signals to work and getting the auto-dispatcher under control. For the books, I have been working on this one task since the 21st of December and have clocked in over 100 man hours to get this done. This is attributable to both dedication and stamina. Well, and patience - lots of that.

In this work, I touched the whole route from end to end. There are too many little corrections and improvements made scenery-wise to note. Perhaps you guys will see a few of them. This brings the route much closer to finalization, in that this major area is now off of the bucket list of fixes.

So, until Friday...
Carry on!
