I had 2 great sessions this week, and the work on Croxton is starting to come together. For this Fridays update we will finally have 2 Freight Terminus in Secaucus: Croxton and Croxton Intermodal. The Bergen Line now has a freight purpose. All the sidings are names based on Historical and current usage. For Example the intermodal tracks are labeled for example "Croxton IMF - PAD A" and "Croxton IMF Shop Track" the freight yards have names like "Croxton Advance Track 1". Also I was able to populate the yards with cars. I am at less than 15% of capacity with the cars- both yards are 1.5 miles long! I was getting a cramp clicking on the cars to drop them in the yard. The work with accuracy in elevation is paying off here. At the track level, you can discern roads that are only 1 foot higher than the track and that the main line is higher than the yard. It looks very natural. Here are shots from today this time with trains!

Like it! Don't know why, but intermodal is one of my favorite types of freight.

Sounds great, but I have been away from home (and TS) for 3 weeks. When I get back to my home computer, I'll be runnin' it so much you'll have to send out the track crew to replace worn-out track.

Well then, please allow me to put up this morning's money shot! (and of course the former ERIE RR. subsidiary is a personal favorite - and she is close to her home territory in North Bergen, Yard.

Two shots below of me working the Croxton QD - I grabbed a pair of diesels to transfer a jag over to Hillburn Yard.

Finally ran it for the first time. It looks very impressive; I'm glad someone's taking the time to build something of this quality.

I do have one question/request. Do you have plans to build the Meadowlands Spur? That would be nice *!!wink!!*

FanRailer - many thanks. What you did, is what I built this route for: immersion, operations and videos like this.
As we get to finalization and more people figure out this is the "other" NJ Transit route, I will update Ramsey Rt17, touch up Suffern and Sloatsburg, and spread some NJSL assets around for more 'feel'.

Regarding the Meadowlands: All I got was Red Bull Stadium out of NJSL. If you or anyone else has any ideas for building Giants Stadium I am all ears, then you will get your stadium run. I envision doing a custom build out of embankment assets, like a big cake, layer by layer. I wouldn't look at the end result too closely though.

That Pascack line was a lark, then I fell in love with it. 20 miles of that run would take 5 months.

When I started - I wasn't sure the game could handle what I envisioned... it does! !!*ok*!!

This is for not going to Waldwick and Ho-Ho-Kus ----> !!bang!!

!*roll-laugh*! hahahaha, I actually have a 3rd consist (the first two being at SEC and SF respectively) laid up in the yard at Waldwick (for the short starts out of that station). Will probably do some fanning at Waldwick, Ho-Ho-Kus, and Ridgewood with that consist.

If DTG ever gets around to patching the F40PH-2CAT DLC, then I'll add that to the collection as well lol.

EDIT: oh, and the reason I didn't go south of Ramsey in the preview is because I had to devote the rest of this day to recording the full line cab rides in both directions :P
