Those semi's were a big help at learning how to model even better.

Also still trying to find some more reference photo's and especially some pictures of what the dash gauges would have looked like, so far I can't find any pictures of any EMD gauges.

Now that my computer is working better again, here's some new progress.

One of the EMC E1 brake cylinders, I'm starting on the braking components and the rest of the trucks and body.

It will get finished, because it and some of the other streamlined diesels were my favorites, and myself, I can't wait to run this in the sim down Cajon Pass.

Also, I want to get it released to the file library and then start on the Alco PA-1.

Also, if anyone else has any good truck photo's of the E1, E2 and E3 those would also be great help to figuring out how the parts should look, because to do the rest of the truck I'm going to have to rely on photo's. The blueprint at this stage is so blurred it's basically impossible to figure out where the piping is and how it should look since I can't see it in the blueprint.

I actually have a standard EMD control panel surround, if you'd like pictures then just ask.

Could use plenty of pictures of them, and also some real good pictures of the gauges to use to help make the gauges.

One of those links has a pretty good cab shot as I recall.

After the community route I'm going to be getting back to this, the only problem is also that I don't have a clue at how to paint it.

But as of right now though I have a ton of buildings to build for my part in the community route, the big city.

I am sure one of the many painters on here will either paint it for you or guide you through it when you get there Jon.

I'll probably just have to have a painter paint it for me since I'll be releasing it as freeware and I'll want it to look supreme.

Of course, first though I have to some how find some more reference photo's of the truck area and more reference of the cab interior. Because in my blueprint I can't even make out how the brake lines are supposed to run. So I'm going to have to have something to help me figure that out.

Now if I could figure out the blueprints I could probably get a test version of it running in the sim now just to see if it runs right. Since it's already done enough where I could place it on the tracks and test it some. About all that needs to be done now is the trucks finished the rest of the way and the cab finished and animated and it will be ready for release, as well as a little bit of body work.

Last time I tried to figure out the blueprints I got confused quite well.

Some more progress done.

Got one of the plates done that will mount another part of the braking system and some of the piping.

Here's how it's looking now.

After the E1 is finished and released next will come the Alco PA-1, hopefully I might get this engine finished soon and animated so I can release it. Will be doing a lot more work on it in the upcoming weeks.

Still I plan to make this one freeware, but most likely the Alco PA-1 will be payware, but I'll have to figure out how to paint first though.

The Alco PA-1 certainly needs the NKP "Bluebird" passenger train repaint...for sure.
