They all do. RSC should buy this improvement from simer4 for a tidy sum and apply it to all their products.

That is one thing in railroading I never kept track of was horn types, so forgive my ignorance on the subject.

For those more knowledgeable on horns, a question....

What make and model of horn does Railworks use on it's SD70/SD70ACe DLC packs?!?!

They use a poorly recorded Airchime K5LLA. Good news, Ill be trying my version of this out with my own personal horns to see how well it works. I just got my new audio recorder, so hopefully my valves thaw out so I can go fry some air.

Well it has this kinda run 8 drum roll sound in the background. At least that's the best way I can describe it.

Exactly, poorly recorded. I do all my horns static away from any other noise sources. But to attest to quality of good sound recorders, here's an SD40-2 in Winter idle. https://www.dropbox.com/s/gyj3qtdp1qviscw/645Bass.wav?m

@simer4; your work needs global recognition so all train fanatics using sims can enjoy 'em. As many have mentioned ealier, RSC should employ u. Pack 'em boyz, he's off to UK :P
