It is not only the assets, remember that the route itself is payware (tiles, networks, etc).

B737 is probably right: if you can distribute the modifications only then you're OK. For example, distributing a repaint (new textures and blueprints) without including RSC content (shape files, original blueprints, sounds, original textures).

Had a little rethink about only using assets from Donner Pass.
It might have worked and it was looking "okay" but some bits I couldnt get to look right so Ive decided to make a few assets that and lofts and it now looks "more" right

Image
Decided to do a bit of reworking on the buildings so I started again and made myself a clear channel right through the middle of Reno.

Image
I checked how accurate the current track and roads were using decall from GE, not too bad except the junction sweepingto the right was a bit close compared to RL

Image
The new loft I made in place, I just need to find a neutral colour for the overhang

Image
Looks a bit blank and nondescript still, (I think this is loking back towards Reno from the west)

Image
One of the bridges I quickly made

Image
and Ive added fences round every opening.

Theres a few points Ive not decided on yet, The baseball stadium and Sparks Station (or the lack of it) being two of them.
I also need to find out whether the current signals are the same type as currently on the route, (Ive left them on for now).

Looking really good. I remember when UP was building the trench and all the controversy attached to it. It's an amazing thing to see in person. I sure miss living in that area. Can't wait til it's released. Now if someone was willing to model Terminal Island and the Alameda Corridor *!lol!* That would be a huge tasking though.

So basically it's an unfinished tunnel. *!greengrin!*
I was gonna say this is good for car traffic but it's terrible this splits the neighborhoods in two, but I was forgetting nobody walks around anymore.

Quick update on how much left to do/what Ive done

Image
Had the carpark that overhangs the corridor built for me

Image
Added quite a few more lights to Reno, and built the massive ball thing next to the "Sands"
Increased the size of "The Sands" so you can see it further away
A lot of the dark patches are carparks that just need some street lighting on

Image
My new carpark from the other side

Image
And at night

Image
View from the platform, still need to make an Asset for the recessed portion of Reno Station
