Not sure why they wouldn't. But, yes it is I that has done the more recent sounds that RSC has pumped out. I'm not quite sure why they decide at times not to incorporate my work, but I'm just a contractor. I'd hit up one of the upper levels on that one. In some cases, it's due to time constraints (like Donner, for example) but some things, I have not a clue.

I'm thinking we need a petition. I bet anything you like that a week after you release this, more people will have these sounds on their P42 than the ones that came with it from RSC.

I'm just working on getting the dern end of the horn to play (it isn't for some reason when I release the button) but other than that, it's ready. I'll shoot it up onto a mediafire tonight hopefully.

I may just release it as it, The horn end file plays when I use the HUD button, so I don't know what's going on.

Drag and drop the Assets folder in the zip in your Assets directory. Boom bam, done. !!*ok*!!

So, I was supposed to completely replace the entire folder? I went in and added each asset to it's corresponding folder. Was that wrong? I have no sound at all now.

I hate to ask this, but can one of you write out the process of installing the new assets? I've done it multiple times and I'm quite certain that either my copy of the locomotive is flawed or I am just a noob. And I don't think it's the latter.I just don't understand why it's not working.

Open zip file, open main railworks folder, drag and drop the assets folder into the main railworks directory, windows should prompt you to overwrite existing, click yes and done.

Not a problem! I'll get it sent to RWA with instructions ASAP. I'm just busy with "other" projects. :)

I just got my new Stereo Audio Recorder. Expect better sounds from me personally, and RSC stuff I get contracted to do, around the fidelity of THIS: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gyj3qtdp1qviscw/645Bass.wav

NO, NO, NO, NO.......Never advise folks to just drag and drop asset folders into the main Railworks directory overwriting any Asset folders already installed, because you don't know what's in our G-TraX folders already, do ya??

In my G-TraX folder, I have Genesis, PortlandTerminal (all 655mbs of it), for the whole Payware route including all the scenery and associated RailVehicles, and Trains, which include Steam Locomotive stuff plus the freeware Doublestack wellcars and Lightweight Passenger Cars, if I took your advice and just dropped your G-TraX folder from your package into my Assets and let it overwrite what I've collected for the last 3 years, I'd lose absolutely bloody everything.... !!bang!!

It wont erase everything..... It just merges and overwrites files that are pre-existing. Calmeth down sir.
