I'll be ready to try it, if and when I can afford it.

I doubt that it will be freeware so I'll probably have to break the bank to get it, does it also come with the rollingstock, or do we get that separately.

WOW! Truely a classic American route to make, and gosh, for a 3rd party project this looks as good or better than RSC's recent routes! Great to see so many great modelers putting their talents together as one, this announcement is a great Christmas present to us all! I assume this is payware? I will be glad to pay the price for such high quality, amazing work all, keep it up!

Here's something that I built that I'd like to have added to the route if possible.

It's a mid 1800's style U.S freight station.

How would I go about submitting my classic freight station to maybe be used on the route later on.

Nice video, Chessie! I think I heard some wheel slip right at the end there.

well here is one of my favourite videos of this area.....well its a video of the D&S subdivision....yes sub, not railroad! (video was shot in 1962-63)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9LkqDyD ... kg_VIwwrRy

reminds us of where this railroad came from.

When I was a small boy in the 70s I had a book with lots of pics of remaining steam ops - along with African Garretts and those enormous condensing 2-8-2s they used in the Karoo, it had an awful lot on the D&RGW ng and what was left of it; it made a gigantic impression on me. This whole project has made me really happy from the first time I heared of it :)

Just hope one day there's one of these. Even if I have to attempt one myself!

Interesting thing, those were built by a school bus company. I love school buses as well as trains, so that was interesting to me. I believe it was either Bluebird or Wayne.
