Welcome to Railworks, you will not be disapointed. Your GP30 model looks excellent and if your plans suceeds I would really love to see the GP35 and GP39's.

If it's not voluntary - ie you don't get anything without handing money over - then it's flat out payware no different to any other payware, no matter what you call it. Proceeds may go towards a charity or whatever, but it's still payware and still sale of a product with all that involves too.
RE: vents and so on, build them either ready for animation or with an animation included, and making it work can come after. If it's free stuff I'll be happy to help with scripting/physics etc as much as I have time for.

The pack will include full custom cab with almost all switches and controls being interactive (will need help with scripting)
Custom sounds. (with more than one horn), full notching support. 441kHz
Multiple road names with auto number system (again, help with scripts, awesome) (road spec details)
GP30, GP35, GP39 rebuilds (GP39E,V,M), RDMTs.
TSX Effects (need help with that forsure)
I was going to suggest a GP-35 soon as I saw the 30 mesh. I am very happy you are doing this. I would really love to see a 35 without dynamics. (and maybe a nose bell inset Ann Arbor/DT&I -style on the short hood)That would be awesome!

Why you may ask? Im sick and tired of looking for something I can use and its this "Donation Ware" crap. What about us without money? (not to mention RSCs DLC is 20 bucks for an engine pack) If anything for donation ware, make it usable, but with less features for the free one. I may even do that. But probably not, setting up financial accounts and such costs more than what I'd even get back.
