Yea i told them it needed to be updated and they said tell us what needs to be fixed. I tried that there is so many differnt things wrong with that model. The cab is wrong, Lights are worng. The model it self is wrong. Sounds etc. I could go one for ever about how wrong this model is. I dont see why they wont fix it. **!!bang!!**

Um, money, and money, and money, oh I forgot to mention, money. Why rebuild a model for free (which costs you money) than rather build a new one that makes you money. They have a reason to rebuild the F7 though, why, we won't have any real idea unless they tell us.

Just a tip, you need to think in terms of someone that's never seen a ES44AC in person, remember RSC is in England. To me a British Rail Class 03 and British Rail Class 04 look the same, but someone from England can probably spot the differences from a mile away. When you say the cab is wrong, be specific, don't just say everything. When you say everything you know what happens next right?

I can't tell an ES44 from a Dash-9, so not being able to tell one obscure Engish shunter from another is not a big deal :)

So I guess 250-800 is correct for a F7 and a Geep? I will have a go at modifying the GP9 soundfiles a bit - I'm not touching the GP9 itself, if it bothers anyone RSC can fix that :p

( and just in case you wanted to know the difference between 03/04, it's the cab shape, the exhaust shape, and the 03 has a hump in the bonnet/hood. And of course the 03 is much cuter!.here's two together, the 04 nearest to you ).

Just in case you're interested Kali, the biggest difference between a Dash 9 and an ES44AC is in the radiator section. The ES44AC's radiator section is larger and extends slightly beyond the end of the locomotive. There are also noticeable differences in the grills that you can see in the pictures:

C44-9W (Dash 9):

ES44AC:

The reason for the enlarged radiator was so the ES44AC could meet the EPA's Tier 2 emission requirements.

But now I think I'm going a little too far !**off-top**!

And the tanks? while we're talking about ES44s then, was the RW Dash-9 derived from it and inaccurate too, or was it a new model? ( which leads to obvious ideas that it could be back-converted into a more accurate ES44... ).

There doesn't appear to be much difference in the tanks:

And the Dash 9 is a completely new model that RSC built from the ground up and it's much more accurate than the ES44AC. I like the idea of using it to construct a more accurate ES44AC model but it's ultimately up to RSC if they want to do it or not.

I'd have to agree with this. Bring the ES44 up to the Dash-9 and GP-9 standards.

Since y'all are already off topic, I'll ask a dumb question. The air tanks that are shown, that's for the air start for the engine? You can't start a diesel engine that size with an electric starter. Just curious. !*don-know!*
