The Conrail model can work as a good representation of the SD40-3s that were rebuild from straight 40s and have Flexicoil trucks instead of the HT-C

I think that was the idea that Martin Ashwell had when he did his CSX pack. He took the NS Maersk and created child objects to make a SD40-3. I am not sure about using his model to create the SD40-3 KCS. Plus that model has white numberboards.
