On a more serious note, if BNSF511 can prove these are his, isnt what Hyland is doing here illegal? Nice look on his part.

BSNF511, when you do upload these, which you should, is there a way we can overwrite the textures on the original model with the ones you made? This way we can have the coaster look, but keep playing all the scenarios already for ths coaster pack?

I would imagine that's how the pack is being designed, but if not, we could always just drag and drop the modded textures into the default textures.

He can pee off.

No kidding, his repaints are about as good as his spelling.
BNSF511, great work!

Well what you don't understand is if he files a charge with some software protection thing, they will contact the Host of the RWA site and give me 5 days to remove the file. Or you can battle with him. I am not getting involved. I have to take his word for it until you can prove otherwise. I don't have time to messing with this stuff. So your worst case scenario is to upload it somewhere else, but most likely they will get the same message I did. So post it on your own site if you want to deal with him. I been there and done that and am not doing it again.

I have all the necessary files to prove that the decals were created by me. Anyone with a brain will realize that my Coaster textures aren't his, despite how similar they might look. Think about it this way: We both did the prototypical paint scheme of one railroad company; you can't expect me to do the G&W scheme with Coaster colors just to avoid it from looking "stolen."

I was planning to keep my repaints separate from the default models, but maybe I'll make a version that replaces the default textures. The only problem is that the wrapped cars will still have to be added into a scenario (if you want them in the consist).

I have a brain, IQ of 142. As I said I am not dealing with this, put it on a file share place and give people a link via PM.

I know you don't want anything to do with it Bob, which is fair. However since Mr. Hyland appears to frequent this site, I can suggest an IP ban, so he can't come back at all. Also worth reminding him (talking directly to you Justin) that a false DMCA, which he has zero basis for (plus BNSF511 has proof these are his) an actual one, at best results in massive fines of thousands of dollars plus, or at worst is actual prison time. DMCA takedowns are not a joke and should not be used in the manor he is. I've actually bothered to do some research on the DMCA, so I do have an understanding of what I'm talking about.

I'm very much looking forward to these repaints. If they don't make it to the library, I'll gladly request a copy through PM.

Not publicly, but he's been talking with some friends of mine on Messenger. I know he's not happy and already throwing around accusations of me stealing his stuff.

No he does not have an account here. He was banned long time ago. But anyone can come in here and read the forums, can't post unless they register. And why would you actually call him Mr.? He is a punk kid trying to throw what weight he might have around. They come and they go.

Like I said, put the files on a file sharing site. Then the fighting can go there instead of here. He can call the DMCA on that site.

I'll respect not uploading it to RWA, but I'm positive that any DMCA he tries to file will flop. He's trying to say I 'tweaked' his Wells Fargo wrap to make it mine, yet he never released his version publicly. My friend showed me a screenshot that Justin sent him, and there's a pretty obvious difference when you compare both cars. I have plenty of evidence to show that my version was made from scratch.

Agreeing with Bob on this issue......and I really don’t want to drag up the past again, but.....

I would like to see the Copyright Grant Documents provided to “he who shall not be named” by NCTD that permits the release of the Coaster Paint Schemes, et al. RSC/DTG was unable to gain this license from NCTD for the ingame coaster product, hence its current pain scheme. If RSC/DTG could not obtain it, then how did he? IF he did in fact release this “copyrighted” paint scheme, is he not in fact guilty of the very thing he is trying to stop. This is probably why he has never released the repaint......

Well you guys need to stop talking about him. I am sure he is grinning over all the comments and he feels alive again. So go back to talking about the coaster and not someone who is always trying to drag things down and be the center of attention.
