The Dixie IPD set is next up, to be uploaded late this week barring unforeseen circumstances. It will be nine different cars from eight different carriers.

This is some fabulous work! Well done sir! I have just begun to consolidate my rolling stock and these models are the base of my boxcar fleet. Makes life easier with one good model and several repaints.

Boy I remember my days as a content author for Auran Trainz. I have just begun to do some dabbling in Rail Sim.Biggest project was restoring the NRD Building collection to it's glory in honor of the original author and all the great authors on this site. May have to give rolling stock a try. My color blindness is a hindrance on getting the weathering done right for such a flat billboard surface as a boxcar. Did some locomotives which I haven't published yet and the minor weathering on the locomotives have came out alright so I may have to light a fire under my backside and give it a whirl.

The Dixie IPD Set is in the pipeline, a few days late due to unforeseen circumstances.

Next up is Classic Model Railroads Set 1. If you're wondering why I'd bother with such a project, it's due in no small part to the inspiration this pioneering generation of hobbyists had on me to pursue model railroads to begin with. In a broader sense, if they hadn't taken the hobby from the tinplate electric trains of the Depression era to scaled down evocations of the railroads they saw every day, it is possible that there never would have been a call for V Scale railroads once the technology was up to the task. They should be remembered, and take their place alongside our own prototype and fictional lines. We do stand on the shoulders of giants ...

Great job with these paints! They bring back a lot of memories to the stacks of Model Railroader that I poured over as a child in the 80's.

Hegge's work has long been among my most favorite. When I was very young, I had the chance to see some of it, along with the work of hid friend, Bill Clouser, at an exhibition run as a promotion by one of the new shopping centers. I remember being truly astonished at what I saw, not realizing that these were also operating models. Unfortunately, my father was transferred out of the St. Louis area a couple of years later, so I never did get to see the rest of the story in person.

Classic Model Railroads Set 1 is in the pipeline, including some last-minute modifications to some of the car side textures. There will be a few similar changes to Set 2, which I hope to have uploaded late next week. I hope you enjoy them.

This is a brilliant effort! Furthermore, its so appropriate to recognize the roots of our hobby. As a Model Railroader and Railroad Model Craftsman subscriber (former) AND a man with a 12 by 16 layout is his basement, I truly respect your recognition of these great hobbyists. Model Railroading always captures the imagination, its was that joy that kept me in the hobby all this time.

I hope you can be credited with coining "V Scale", I love it! *!greengrin!*

I couldn't take credit for it if I wanted to. IIRC I picked it up from Rick Grout, who I believe coined it. I thought it was brilliant, and I've used it ever since.

This is the model I chose to base my boxcar collection on. So glad that I did. Your skills and efforts are greatly appreciated. The variety of cars is amazing! I am like a kid at Christmas every time new boxcars are released.
