Just let it go. I'm all for two versions.

So basically, what you're saying is that it's all right if I were to go make my own ATSF GP35 and release it, or go take Buzz's idea of the NP F9s and release my own version, but it's wrong of me to start a repaint that doesn't already exist because someone else apparently has the "rights" to it?

Okay, that makes total sense....

I think everyone's projects should be respected, and regardless of your views on the subject of respecting other people's work, I'll be releasing my own version.

Now, can we all move on?

I never said you shouldn't and I'm not upset or angry but yourself and Dash7Studios are the ones who said it was "rude" and "childish" for him to work on the same repaint, implying that you had "rights" to it. He's done some quality work with ATSF already, and tons of other rolling stock repaints, should he not do them because someone else did it first or at the same time?

I couldn't care less if every person with TS2017 decided to release their own version of a repaint. More variety please.

I think it is all up to the people who click "download." If you or whoever does not think I should release the repaint, I wont. These repaints are not of any matter of importance in the end of things! Let's stop arguing about it, and just enjoy each other's work.

Have it your way, I've decided to scrap the package. I may eventually release the pinstripe unit, but it's doubtful.

Your reaction is disappointing. This is really not the spirit of RWA.
You don't have exclusive rights to repaints you are working on.
Nobody goes out of his way to do a repaint that already exists, but coincidences happen, which is clearly the case here.

Please continue your work, I know your scenarios and route are top quality and they are appreciated by myself and many others. It was not my intention to discourage anyone or create bad feelings.

Just adding my 2 cents but its extremely rude to "steal" a repaint that someone is working on. Seeing that one person is already doing it then suddenly you wanna start the same thing and finish it first then say you're going to release it is messed all the way up. Basically Joshua just wasted his time on a repaint. I don't find this a "coincidence" at all.

Just my 2 cents

Why doesn't Joshua just upload his earlier blue Santa Fe paintscheme and the other guy upload his variant of the newer yellowbonnet scheme?
