Here is what's been going on the past week on 'da Bergen. Well, aside from even more trees, we are deep in scenery trying to round the curve West of Moodna to MP 59. Beaver dern Lake is killen me and for all the usual reasons: Slope-y terrain, a hundred houses, lots of trees and you can see it, but barely from the train. The drone view is gonna be out of this world - trust me. But the in cab view in the Summer? Meh, what houses? Winter will be better. I have been studying the terrain ahead and we are finally getting some farms in. I have a vineyard, and 1 old farm with a silo that is out of use. But soon, my friends, I see cows in our future. Yes, we will finally get those bovine quadrupeds we all know and love. So you got more trees and cows to look forward to.
I blew 3.5 hours this week on a signal and crossover rework in Suffern. The fact I couldn't get anything more than a Red Signal going into Suffern Yard was nagging at me. So, we replaced the 2 head Sherman Hill gantry signals with 2 head tri-lights from the NJCL. The signaling is improved, it might even be fixed - you be the judge.
Last update - I reworked Ramsey Station and environs on request. I thought it was outta this world. No one noticed. Subs have been flat for the past 30 days or so holding at 2,730. Without action, I have no idea how were doin with these releases. The Mooda, I thought was epic, the response has been great but not a lot of chatter in Steam about it. My urban scenery was swimmingly popular, the woods - no so much it seems. Any way we build what is there - not what we want or imagine or think would look cool. It is what it is.
And for today's image of up and coming stuff here is a shot from Suffern Platform. You got some new signals, new scenery detail and more stuff.
I'm looking to post this week's update on Saturday some time, as I really need to show some more Westward progress. I will use all the time I can get a hold of to do that.
