I'm currently having an issue with the blueprint editor. I'm trying to get the engine exported into the game as an actual engine just to see it in game. I've managed to make it appear in the engine list, but when I select it and move it to the track it disappears. Is there something I'm missing?? Any help is appreciated, Thanks *!!thnx!!* *!!thnx!!*

There is a lot you're missing.

I've been developing for several years now and I'm yet to get an actual engine to run, that's why I'd suggest starting with something simpler, such as scenery, there are a lot of vehicle items still needed in the sim.

Perhaps later you'll be able to get the engines running in the sim, but it isn't an easy process, it's something that I myself still haven't figured out.

I've finally sorted out the whole disappearing act the engine was doing! !*YAAA*! !*YAAA*! !*YAAA*!

Except now when click on the engine to drive it, the game crashes, along with other issues **!!bang!!** **!!bang!!** **!!bang!!** The first issue is the fact that the couplers seem a bit "off" as well as a gigantic gap in between two coupled engines, as can be seen in the photo above. The next one is that when used as ai in a scenario, it accelerates instantaneously as can be seen in the video link below:

I could really use some help with getting the blueprint settings worked out.

But aside from that, I've gotten that much closer to this actually getting finished.

I'm still trying out test rolling stock and I'm stuck. !*hp*! !*hp*!
I've set the blueprints up and at first it looks like everything is fine. But when I start to reverse to couple up I only get a couple of feet before the cars go flying. !*hp*! !*hp*!

I don't remember the details (sorry) but I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with the coupling distance. The game thinks you're having a collision before you reach the couplers.
