Some updated screenshots of the route! The northern section has been almost completed, next will be finishing the shortline segment and then continuing the Central Vermont mainline south to the Rutland connection. I'll have to take a short drive to Bellows Falls one of these days and get some photographs for inspiration.

Some rainy-day work on the southern end of the Western Vermont Railroad, which is the shortline segment of the route.

The power station across the river has its own siding for receiving wire, poles and other apparatus

Been a while since I've updated this thread. The route is getting close to completion, just a couple more segments and i'll be moving on to the technical stuff: sounds, labels, etc.

Progress since my last post

Thanks much for the kind words, all.

My computer was being surprisingly cooperative tonight so I plugged away at the last segment of the route, the southern end of the Central Vermont mainline. The last location to complete is Bloomfield VT, which is home to a large railroad customer, Green Mountain Creamery. Bloomfield is partially based on the real-life city of Bellows Falls, and even though there really is a Bloomfield VT, this one is not related.

Also added an abandoned branch for a bit of interesting scenery

Not long now! !*salute*!

Great!
Technically, RailSimulatorUS assets are payware (US assets pack), but it is included in several payware DLC.
It used to be included in the game, but not any more.
