Sweet...

And now for the confessions of a young adult...

Once upon a time, in a state, far, far, away. A young man once raced a Countach with his very fast Yamaha Fazer. This race occured purely spontaniously on Skyline drive, in San Mateo Co, CA, circa 1988.
It was an interesting dual. It involved gradually speeding up to over 150mph.
The Countach could out corner the young lad, but could not out accelerate him. It was a dual to near death...
We stopped and talked, and shared our tale with others at the world famous Alice's restaurant in San Mateo's beautiful hills.
It was a moment to remember. *!greengrin!*

I have no idea how I survived those days.

Which Skyline are you referring to? The peninsula, or Hayward hills?

The Peninsula. Although I had been very naughty along the one through Oaktown.
Naughty in Crow Canyon Road.
Naughty in Dublin Canyon.
Naughty in Palomares.
Naughty in Niles.
Naughty on Foothills...... !*roll-laugh*!

You can't really speed in Niles anymore. Its way to busy now, even at night.

That's the road, or at least part of it between Dublin and Castro Valley.

No way, mine was Puerto Rican orange with white vinyl roof and interior! !*roll-laugh*!

Had no gas pedal, just the metal rod sticking down, hard for slow starts. *!rolleyes!*
