AmericanSteam - !*hp*!
I haven't had a user error in, like, forever! Firstly, there are no scenarios for the New York Division: Bergen Line. There are only quick drives. Now, there may be some scenarios floating around from various sources such as OVSRails, Now, for the New York Division: Croxton Ordinary: there are Scenarios from Workshop. Some have been pulled by the others. if you are referring to the "Ordinary" you would have to resub to any scenarios. I have a folder on the steam page that links all known scenarios, so do check that out.

So for the Bergen always use the QD Tab. If you have further issues, I will send you my route compressed via my Google Drive. (with all the updated stuff)

I am fairly sure that It was I who caused this file corruption. All is well. I do remember a few weeks ago making a scenario that was giving me issues and it hung and crashed.

Still enjoying the runs. Could you please check the QD Harriman to Hoboken passenger run. I keep getting a crash to desktop about 3-4 minutes into the run with Comet V cab car leading ALP 45. Thanks

Ha! Another user issue! !*hp*!

Pwelt, its great to hear from you again. So, about that Harriman to Hoboken Run. That one, I had removed way over a year ago, maybe two! So, it appears the glorious workshop updater has not worked for you. We have all kinds of NEW and INTERESTING runs made by yours truly. I have a link here that describes them all, except my 2 'test runs". ( I create test qds in areas that I am working in so I can try a variety of trains ) Link to QD descriptions: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/fil ... 195451433/

Next up, is I want you to delete the Bergen Folder on you machine so the very latest update will be downloaded to your machine.

You may encounter the route crashing immediately after an update. This is due to the workshop not fully synchronizing the files inside the Bergen Line. To resolve, simply delete the contents of the Route Folder and restart Train Simulator or even better, restart you computer. When you logon to steam again, a new copy of the route will download.

This is the path to the route folder for the New York Division - Bergen Line:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Content\Routes\19b667f7-2759-49e0-93d8-4dadc470bceb

Please note that anytime that you guys have an issue with the route follow the tried and true method above.

I know I didn't do the Wednesday Route Report … truth be told, I am STILL being stalked by Scarlett Johansson. This is very distracting.
I do want you to know that I have not been slacking. Trees and brush continue to be laid down in Middletown as we inch our way to our 4 consignees and the station. Todays picture is from a bit of a side trip I took back to da Bronx. I left the peripheral scenery detail as I have zero 1968 assets. Fortunately with gross artistic license I got around to detailing up around Harlem Station for my pal, Spin, over at OVSRails who is working on a scenario for our postage stamp sized yard.

Today's picture is taken at the intersection of the E145th Street and Gerard Avenue. We are facing roughly West, and our terminal and the 145th St Bridge are in the background.

Keep up with the Carrying On, its good for the soul!

Wow that's really a bronx feeling!
Looks so realistic there.

Looking forward to the scenario by Spin and also to see the rendition of Middletown
Really love your work

Thanks for reply. I did have an obsolete copy of your great route. Reloaded and all is well, like to run passenger rather than freight.

!!*ok*!! Excellent! Now Pwelt, don't be shy, if you need some more passenger QDs that are not currently depicted, please let me know. It only takes about a half hour to an hour and a half to set one up. I just takes a bit longer to add static cars and detail if I feel the need. This goes for the rest of you mugs too!
MM

The thought behind me suggesting to Pwelt that he can request Qd's, reminds me to make a comment I have been thinking about the past few weeks. My interested in continuing to work on the Bergen is waning. We are in quintuple overtime here and what I promised originally is completed. I want to focus on my work-work a bit more and pure free time. I still have Middletown to do and I wont leave that unfinished. It's time for me to move on with route building. But, I can tell by my own time logs, that I am skipping 2,3 and 4 days at a time, instead of working it each day.

So, if you have a request like QDs, scenery updates, more detail and other small tasks that can be done, please let me know. Can I have a change of heart and keep going, sure, it could happen. I also know myself and I can tell, I am ready to stop. The end of working the route is really a matter of time now. I will not be leaving the game, or repaints and scenarios. I will get some sleep back and spend a wee bit more time on career training and advancement.

For those of you who never checked this out - i recorded EVERY session of route work here since the day the route was published in workshop ( HOLY CRAP ) on June 1st 2014. https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/fil ... 701363477/
There are 1,662 entries. And seriously 5 years is just a bit too much don't you think?

I already drooled all over this shot you put up on Steam just 5 minutes ago. This is what I am talking about here folks. I build this stuff, but its you, you, you who take brilliant shots like this. All the work, ( and all the Bourbon) comes together, when you see it in a way that's new to me.

And you were kind enough to contrast that show with Powder River! !*roll-laugh*! I get it ... "New Jersey" and NOT " New Jersey"!
Tell the guy who build that he needs mor' trees! *!greengrin!*

Thank you so much AmericanSteam/rwaday.

Here is some WIP shots up here in Middletown, NY, finally made it out of the unbroken tree thing for the past 2 miles. Since you were so kind to put up a Carlton Hill, I figure I should assure you I'm not just lounging around like a potato.
