Yes, the tracks will be there but only where they are visible from the CR mainline. South Shore is represented at more locations around this route that are already done. Note, they are not runnable as there are only small bits and pieces of the south shore close enough to be seen from IHB/ CR / NS / CSX tracks.

Not sure. Blue Island Illinois to Gary Indiana is done.

No pressure, but that sounds like a good Beta1 to me!

Keep up the great work!

When i fired up the route this morning it would not load at all, a corrupt file perhaps ? I have reinstalled my latest backup and will redo the affected area. Four hours work to do all over again. !*not-ok*! Four hours doesn`t sound like much but like so many other users my spare time is limited. Oh well, back to route building.

mdurdan, I was thinking about contacting Ian, thanks again.

It could be worse. Jason had to scrap 200+ miles of track, and I believe 20 or 30 miles of scenery work.

Working on it now, currently at Burns Harbor Indiana. Its a massive industrial area, similar to Gary Indiana. Cant wait to get out onto more rural, town and farm areas.

Hey Imnew! How's progress on the route coming? Looks very promising, and I think I speak for many of us when I say that we all look forward to more update photo's! One question. Are you modeling the NS that goes through Chesterton IN? Good luck on this! !*cheers*!

Sweet! I'm watching the live streaming railcam in Chesterton right now! Are you also doing the CSX Chicago line down the street?

Awesome railcam, use it often. There is so much traffic on this line that it makes for a great railcam experience. Always something coming down the line, at great speeds to.

There are two lines entering / leaving Chesterton that are CSX. You have the ex Michigan Central Porter Branch going south west and the C&O Grand Rapids line going north east. None of these will be modelled beyond what you see from the cab when running through Chesterton on NS main tracks.
