I am trying to run a Erie heavyweight passenger from Carlton Hill Sta. to Hoboken. I tried to place a marker at Carlton Hill station to enable a station stop. I am doing something wrong as the train stops at, Carlton Hill at 00 mark but when I press T nothing happens. This is in a simple scenario I created. Love the route Thanks

I didn't anticipate any of you deciding that you wanted to see 1966. Scratch that, I didn't anticipate you wanting to RUN, 1966. 2 things: the marker is a simple siding marker and the other is that I didn't add people. As you know I will do just about anything for pictures of the Bergen with my beloved ERIE on it. So you are looking to drop off passengers and pickup from Carlton Hill Correct? *!greengrin!*

Hi Thanks for reply
Yes I thought it was 1966. Did not realize the branch is freight only. Do not change anything for me, not that important. The route is beautiful as it is.

You know me too well ... (whispering) yes of course its 1966. I forgot that you too know what this place is.
I will put it this way, and I don't make statements like this without some sort of basis in fact. Pwelt, if we were to get, uh .... proper coaches for our route here, you bet your sweet bippy I will activate that platform. Of course there will be like only 5 people on the platform, but we will do it anyway.

Anyone with pictures of Carlton Hill station between 1960 and 1966 WITH on boarding or off loading passengers post here. For your troubles, I will regale you with long stories at Loughrans's Tavern and provide you with 1 Beer and a Shot ( your brand of choice). If its your picture, you will get the prime rib dinner (at Loughran's), blind drunk and we WILL reinvent the wheel during the course of the evening. *!greengrin!*

Oh a wise guy! *!greengrin!*
I have researched them before and I just did it again for a possible project. I don't want to jinx it, but you lured me in with the "oh, master researcher comment'!
This is also why I was very hot for this work: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16615

This model does not exist...yet.

If anyone wants to indulge me in yet ANOTHER 6 paragraph novelette about this subject, please don't, I got chores to do today! *!greengrin!* I will conclude here and note that Pwelt defiantly knows what these are. As for me, I just caught the end of all this. So that means, I had an Erie Lackawanna Ticket, and gave it to an Erie Lackawanna conductor on an Erie Lackawanna Coach. If I hadn't actually seen all this stuff first hand, It would never have made the impression on me to spend 5 years trying to show you guys what I saw!

Until someone makes some Stillwell coaches we will just have to live with some Pullman cars which were also on the Erie. Badly need to change the colors on the upholstery and the carpeting. WIP.

Buzz - agreed. The coaches are perfect for runs to Buffalo and stand in for the Stillwell. The other side of the coin is that I'm like the dog chasin the car. Some dude will build all the equipment I need and then I will be like "uh, I gotta back date the Bergen now"

I took a series of pictures a while back, of these coaches behind an E8 in some Hoboken to Port Jervis configuration I saw, and it looked dead the heck on to the photograph. It was very cool to see the train take the curves down in Garfield. What was really surprising was that out of the blue, Mr. Stephan made them and put them on his site. !!*ok*!!

THIS is Erie Land....
20190406231641_1.jpg

And when you positively, absolutely need to get your Erie on, you go, no you gobble up dinner, leave the women and children behind and RUN to the Famous Dundee Spur.
20190406232018_1.jpg

And when your strapped in to the best 44 tonner ride between the Hudson and Mississppi. Oh yeah baby!
But the pièce de résistance, has to be these Darn 40 footers we needed run behind Rudi's opus. (which led to a 2 month construction in da Bronx.)
20190406232239_1.jpg

There is still more refinement to come....but remember this is just part of the 40 foot rolling stock Ive been cooking up in Minerman Labs.
20190406233422_1.jpg

More to come, it will be worth the wait. But most important, is MMSS1 spitting his Wheaties all over his screen when he sees the shots.
For you youngins - Wheaties are a breakfast cereal - known to be 'the Breakfast of Champions" All Erie Men eat this for breakfast - which is why MMSS1 will spray his laptop with wheatie chunks. *!greengrin!*

Minerman, you nailed it! That's exactly what I was referring to about toning-down / desaturating the script and logos. You've got those boxcars blending into the sim-world beautifully; both the route textures and the rolling stock textures are as one, the true Zen of Railworks. I wouldn't tinker with them any further; Great work! !*salute*!

Ive been working on this guy. The D&H is definitely a player on the New York Division. I love this car. Unfortunately, I am working from a picture where it was brand new, and I don't know what year it is!

Also debating to put up a hand numbered set. This numbers are very low on this car.

Run your paint through DXTBmp and make a darker alpha channel.
