Took a look at this - the mediafire link for freeware is no longer valid it seems. Downloading an empty file.

That's for the route itself. There's a freeware asset pack that's also supposed to be downloaded (listed in the readme at Mediafire) that isn't working.

Hi jwtheiv The route is mine I am sorry you are having trouble with downloading the freeware assets from MediaFire. I downloaded the file from MediaFire yesterday to test it and it was all there4. I just now downloaded it again and it is all there. It is a big file 1.38GBs I don't know why it is not working for you. According to the site their has been 20 downloads of the file from the MediaFire site. Give me some idea of how I can help you. I put the assets in rwp file along with documentation.

Looks like an add-on or something was blocking the file (it was downloading, but would finish with 0 bytes). Seems to be working properly with a different browser.

Thanks!

That is great news. after it downloads and you install it I would really like to know what you think about the route. Like I put in the readme for this route to be the way I intended it to look like you need all of the payware routes. It still will work without all of them. Have you seen my YouTube channel I have posted alot of the route on my site. You can find it under Railworks Skunk Train Route. I hope you enjoy my route.

David,

My only question (as I wait for the Mediafire download to finish) is which of Ian's freeware scenery are we supposed to download? The link in the readme file included with your route looks like this:
http://eyein12.blogspot.com/search?upda ... -results=7

Hi they are from his Soo Line assets. I sent him a copy of what I used and he told me that they were his payware ones. I would have added these to the freeware ones but since they are payware and belong to him I could not. I have a list of what I used of his assets and I can post it if that would help everyone. Just let me know.

The only way to access these assets are to buy the SOO Route from Eyein12. Which is a great route by the way.

I am sorry you are having trouble. I gave the route to a few friends before it was sent here to download and it worked for them. Have you used the Clear Cache in the settings. This sometimes helps especially after installing new assets. I expected that some people might have some problems with the route. Since everyone's computers are different. I just hope that most people that download it will be able to run it without many problems. I hope you will be able to get it running. If not I am sorry, I made this route for myself in the beginning and for the man that works on the real route. But after finishing it the route looked good to me. So my friends helped me with it so that I could put it on here for everyone to enjoy. For those that cannot get it to work please except my apology. If there is anything I can do to help just ask me and I will do the best I can.

NICE work my friend. I like how you have a lot of buildings close in to the track. I found myself wanting to pan around in the youtube video, but of course, couldn't! Your use of foliage is very good. Are you making a lot of your own scenery objects?

David, a question. In your readme about the assets, you say you used the payware versions of 3D Trains ScaleRail and ScaleRoads. Did any of your beta testers only have the freeware versions of those assets? Reason I ask is that several people now seem to be missing tracks and may not have the payware 3D Trains stuff.

My installation runs great. Now I just hope some scenarios show up for it. I stink at editing or creating stuff. *!embar*!
