Very good MadMike! Don't forget to paint the trucks! This was NKP practice for their Bluebird passenger trains. See attached pic.
They also ran rib side passenger cars.
An extra smooth side set painted olive with gold lettering would be nice. See other pic. The gold color should be a close match to what they put on the Berkshire tender.
Of course these are of the older heavy weight design. And perhaps left for another time.
Lots of information for NKP rolling stock located here > http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/rsList.aspx?id=NKP And again thank you sir. !!howdy!!

Now we just need Doyle's PA :)
Once I get some of my contractual locomotives out of the way, I'll have to see about a PA.

*sigh*

You realize that the bay window offered by BLLW has too many windows, the bay window extends to the roof, and does not have the ladder extensions.

With help from PapaXpress, the set is finished, and in BETA testing.

There are no ribside cars, because the model set I used for these has no way to add ribs. The car names and numbers match the NKP Historical Society list. The RPO only had two digits available for the auto numbers, but the first digit was 3 for all of them and the last two match the list. As always, limits of the model determine the result.

I added an observation car even though there were none in the lightweights. There were smoker/club/sleepers in the heavyweights, so I used those names and numbers.

No motive power for now, Although it wouldn't be out of line to have a GP7 or three with boilers pulling the train. I'll look at doing up the DTM FA/FB in the PA colors as well.

MadMike - Very good Sir. I have my ticket and I'm sure I will be happy with what ever you have to offer. A re-paint of a FA/B set would look good. Maybe we'll get lucky and someone will be able to make a nice PA for us before too long.

Keep up the good work my friend. Peace.

Just because it is uploaded doesn't mean it is posted. There is a screening process that uploads go through before they are put into the library and the volunteers who run this forum do sleep and work at jobs and all that nasty stuff.

understand. Same as me. Please do take your time with these gentlemen. I'd much rather see something of quality than something that was obviously rushed. I have no problem with payware for enhanced detail. !!det!! If you have other priorities, please attend to those first. I can wait. Thank you.
