Here are some progress screenies.

Since this is a new topic, I will post the info of the route here.

The New England Southern Railroad. Interchanges with Pan Am at Concord, has facilities at Canterbury, NH, and it's lone customer is at Tilton, NH, which receives carloads of Slurry monthly. They have trackage rights to Lincoln, NH (I think?). The route will go to Meridith, which means it will also have the Winnipesaukee scenic railroad, which has great views of Lake Winnipesaukee and Winnisquam. Also, my route will have three industries: 3M, Agway, and Hebert Foundry and Machine in Laconia. There will also be transload facilities at Canterbury.
In reality, the NEGS only serves 3M in Tilton, but one industry is boring. So why not have multiple?

I will try to post updates here as often as possible.

So, good news. I have a new mouse that actually works, so updates will be more frequent.
As I move towards the northern end of the line, I may have snuck in a little easter egg, something a few people call "The rust monster."

Scenery has made it to "The city between the lakes"
This shows the last on-line industry in my version of the line, Hebert Foundry And Machine. All points north from here is scenic railroad land.
I also asked Jpetersjr if he could model the old Laconia station, I still don't know if that is happening or not. !*don-know!*

I'll see if I can get it built this week, I have to admit though, even with leaving off some details it will probably still be one of the most complex buildings I will do.

By the way, any builders blueprints of it and such?

Also, I have some classic cars that would probably look great somewhere on the route, perhaps a house with a antique car parked in the drive.

Blueprints? I'll see what I can do. Anybody know where I could possibly find those?

As for the classic cars, sounds good. I'm sure they will find a home somewhere, I've seen many an old car while visiting the area.

There probably aren't any blueprints, but if you can find other pictures of the building those should help when I start working on it.

So, a bit of sad news, we won't have a custom Laconia station right now, or near in the future. It's too complex of a building to build for jpetersjr, and I don't know anyone better than him. No matter, though. We don't need one at this minute. Ill work on that when the route is nearly done. Which I have now set a date as next year. These things take a lot of time.
Good news, though.

As track work continues, NEGS 2555 passes a relic of a bygone era in Lakeport.
We did it, guys. We have officially reached the biggest lake in New Hampshire.

Excellent! I have a ton of photos from a Winnipesaukee Railroad extra last month of the Lakeport engine house, drawbridge, and surrounding area if you need reference material

Those would be great, extra resources are always welcome!

All these repaints are absolutely amazing, but if anyone really wants to make my day with my favorite loco...
Image

Anybody know what actually happened to this loco? This pic seems old.

Also, I think I found the pics that you were talking about on your Facebook, Rick.
