RW: The Future Comes

Anyone want hovercars for Railworks.

I must admit that I've been watching too much science fiction and Star Wars.

Later will come special new track and hover trains.

To this era, a GP7 would be close to 100 years old and most likely would have been removed from service a long time ago. The year would be about 2050.

I haven't decided yet at whether I want to finish these and release them or scrap them, it depends on what the community thinks of them and if they want them. Please leave a comment if you would like some hovercars in the game.

You should make a Delorian. I can do a traffic ribbon for it at 88mph.

I plan to do a delorian when I make a set of 70's and 80's cars.

These are hover cars.

Tell you what I'm going to do, I'm going to make the flying delorian from Back To The Future 2, when Doc and Marty go to the future.

That should fit in perfectly with these hover cars. And some scenes from the new Total Recall.

The wedge front end of that kinda reminds me of the locomotive from the show "Supertain" from 1979.

Supertrain was clearly a very wide gauge train. I love how steam bellows out the rear vents of the loco. The show didn't last long, but I watched it as a kid cuz it was on a train and I was obsessed with trains. It was cheesy in a love boat kinda way without as much love. Basically a self contained world on a train with love, drama and humor.... with lots of characters. Love Boat did a much better job at it and hence why it survived and Supertrain didn't. !*not-ok*!
