Interesting statement, _o_OOOO_oo-Kanawha. I understand exactly what you saying, I myself am only 17. In regards to vandalism, yes, to many of my fellow youth are getting involved in it, not to mention fights. I really do hope that this excellent hobby does not only appeal to grown ups, but to my age group, and under too. It would be sad to see all this just, disappear. People I can think of that are my age would think it's silly. Heck, even the Railroads aren't to anxious to train people who are into trains, because they (according to what one of the instructors at my upcoming college said) tend to challenge each other in knowledge and even challenge the instructors! He asked if I was a foamer. Naturally, I would say sort of, seeing as I don't have schedules or 2 cameras with me at all times, and go out hours on end. I said no. Well actually it came out more as "umm, I dunno." I'd say the hobby would only get better with youth more involved, as we are still maturing, and tend to pick up certain skills quicker (not trying to bash grown-ups), like modelling in 3D, game design, whatever. Perhaps keeping out political views is a good thing, like _o_OOOO_oo-Kanawha stated. It makes things more realistic. I am creating just at the beginning of Project MB, and have began by starting CP's Lac-du-Bonnet sub, which is no longer in existence except for 10.2 miles. I won't cut anything out. No matter what. But enough of me rambling on.
It's great to see this route in development by Csxgp38-2, it looks great so far. And the flooding, *!lol!* not very far of from what we get here in Manitoba. Great work so far, keep it up! :D

Thanks guys, I'm trying to make the route as realistic and pleasing to all as possible. I added a passing siding today and ran a AI test train, it passed me just fine, the Piedmont Division will be all signalized territory, all US&S co searchlights. Vandalism, I hate it. It ruins the historic buildings I love, makes trains look crappy, and can even get people killed. If you wanna paint, do it with a brush and canvas. How would they like somebody breaking their windows, or spray painting on their house? If you're bored, there's constructive things to do.

I don't run too many freeware routes since most of them I don't have the assets to. Since at the moment can't afford any routes.

That's one reason why I build asset buildings.

Here's another building you might be able to use on your route upcoming. Haven't released it yet, but might release another small set of the buildings soon at my website. This one is a vintage warehouse.

Looks great so far. I could use it. !*salute*!
Added a wye today, few more trailers and 1 story houses going out of town, extended the main a bit, added trees and such. On the industry lead to the warehouses at Connors Creek, 4 axle units only will clear switch stands and navigate the tight curves, this goes for turning units on the industry wye also, 4 axles only. End cabs work the best for the Connors Creek industry spur, I may add a extra siding where an end cab can be stationed near the wye. Just cut off the road power, do your switching, and then switch out the units again. Prototypical procedure for branch/main interchanges and industries with tight curves. Freight cars over 60' WILL NOT clear the industry tracks, they are built for 50' boxcars. No pictures right now.

Connors Creek, for which the nearby town is named:

Further on, an abandoned trailer and small house:

A very special thanks for the SCLALINE assets!! !!*ok*!! Progress on this route and the Apex route are rather slow lately, sorry!
Deleted tons of stupid grass assets to give it less of a midwest feel and a more southern feel. Small towns, small trains, old houses, and lots of woods, the route now looks much more like the NC I have grown up in.
Opinions?

I think you have caught the flavor very nicely in those shots.
