I've never spent any real time learning signals, so I decided to start. Mike had this set up for AI to also run on, and I wanted to be able to have AI running in the mill along with the player to make it more "interactive" since I don't have the interactive loading and unloading sidings like in the original.

Spent more time this weekend on learning repainting and starting to get results. My plan is to include a SW1200 and AS616 in IHSX livery for the route. I'm running small missions to add in final detail, hoping to have this done in a week or two.

Hey John, I took a bit of a hiatus from TS over the summer and fall but am back it. All the big structures are done but still finishing track work, terrain, and details.

I actually took a bunch of pics to post last time I was working on them but i can't find, I'll take some new ones and post them later.

Great. We all need a break now and then it helps recharge the mind. Looking forward to the photos.

Those are truly fantastic scenes around the heavy industry! Hard to believe that this started life as one of the earliest routes in the game.

Cheers,

Running an ore train up from the docks to finalize scenery on the way. I need to do signaling from the yard where the AI track intersects to where it leaves the mill area, and that's the biggest lift left before I think I can finally call it done.

I do need to figure out the cab view issue on the AS-616.

Be forewarned, this route uses a lot of disparate asset packages. Finding the buildings to make a route like this is a whole adventure by itself. I created a route where I enabled every American asset pack, and a few Euros, just to find the best industrial buildings possible.

John Lippai's NS New River District is essential for this route, and I am grateful to him for such a quality asset pack!

The BLE/Conneaut route is also heavily used.

I am back at with this route, and actually just have a few things to finish up: some of the buildings, and some of the track and signal structure.

I have made some changes to buildings since the last time I posted, and so I am working from a new saved file.

Is there a way to copy something I deleted in the newer version that is still in an older version?

Specifically, this crane infrastructure. Can I copy it directly, or can I make an object somehow?
