Route Update: Thursday September 10, 2020
Aaaaaaaannnd we're back. A big update for y'all. So to start off with, phase 1 of this route will be released at the end of December of this year. Phase 1 will include all of the Southern Pacific trackage from the start of the line at Bryn Mawr to the end of the branchline at Greenspot. On the ATSF side of things, you will get completed scenery from just west of Downtown Redlands to the city limits of Highland.
Now onto where this will be released. Earlier this year, I joined the TruRail Simulations team and the route
will be released at https://www.trurailsimulations.com/. Announcements and weekly updates for the route will still be given here, however there may be some information that is released only on the TruRail Facebook or blog section of the website.
Okay, that just about covers all of the housekeeping. Now onto the fun stuff. Progress as of late has been heavily focused on scenery in the western part of Downtown Redlands. Here is an overview of the general area...

Finally, the Southern Pacific line has been seeing some love lately. Mainly to get this phase done.

Anyway, one of the most notable historic landmarks left in the city of Redlands is the Southern Pacific bridge over the Mill Creek Zanja. Upon exiting the bridge eastbound, the SP crosses the intersection of Texas St. and Redlands Ave. and heads into downtown...

Its been a long time coming and I'm so excited to finally be able to announce a first release for this route. It has been a labor of love for the past couple of years. After countless times of having to redo areas, I finally have the look that is right for the area and the details that will make this route feel real. I hope y'all enjoy the route. As the release becomes closer, additional information regarding dependencies will be released.
That's it from me tonight, but expect more updates soon.
