Looks like this repaint will be going on hold until I can overcome the child object issue for the logo. So, apparently I will be forced into learning how to create my own objects to place logos on my engines. Unfortunately, I am preparing to make a major move and will not have time to dedicate to learning 3D object creation until after I get moved and things settled back down. So, until I can learn to create this myself or find someone that has a object that will work and will allow me to use with their credit for the object, this project will be on hold until further notice.

I haven't looked at this particular locomotive but is it possible to make the decal transparent and then paint on the main body?

No, the cabinets on the side are mapped to a different file and mirrored so that they use a single door on opposite sides and would run backwards on one side.

Hopefully I will be able to learn to make these objects and will release them under the GPL (General Public License) so that other modders can use them to make their repaints possible. My only requirement would be to give credit where it is due for the object, but freedom to reskin as you need.

I know how to create child objects and models, and that means I can make decals too. Its been a while since I made one before so it'd take a bit to remember exactly what to do, but I remember it being easy. So if you need, I can make decals for you. And guess what? I'm not a child, and would be cool with anyone using it! So let me know if you want me to do this. I accepted a few requests and this weekend will be my first free time to begin them, so that's when I'd get it done

There is just a bunch of GP38-2 re-paints that could be done if it wasn't since a PITB to get names and stuff on the side of the long hood. I'm easy but I would ask for the RSC BN one unless somebody's got a better suggestion.

Just glancing over the files, it looks like it might be doable. The cabinets are at least mapped with doors independent for each side. I will have to take a crack at it and see what happens.

If you could make that I would greatly appreciate the gesture. Just let me know how you want me to list within the readme to give you total credit for making this and getting this project completed.
