In 99% of the downloads I use, I drop the rar. into the package manager, and away I go.
Not this time. !*don-know!*

That's how I do it too. I'll try that Buzz

There was a bit of a problem installing the route to my game. But that didn't stop me, I've managed to move the files directly into the TS2015 with no problems !!*ok*!!

Route looks really good btw. *!!thnx!!*

Edit:
One thing I would like to share with you. When you get a chance, you don't have to do it right now. lol

The crossing gates in Folkston, ga. Just have to be upgraded. Here are the 2 pictures for it.

I downloaded this route, but the installer application says it's not compatible on my device, and when I drag the files to the specified folders the route doesn't appear anywhere on my simulator. !*hp*! *!sad!*

The installer did not seem to work for me either so I copied the files to the proper place.

AFAIK there are no included scenarios, QD, or free roam, it does show up in the route builder for me but I think you'll have to make your own scenarios.

Yeah it won't even show up on the route builder screen either on mine *!sad!*

Could someone maybe make a new installer application for it and re-share? I've been wanting a route in Georgia for a longggg time.

I don't recall the exact packaging but the manual install was straightforward, it was either a single Railworks folder to be copied into the right location or there are two folders (Route and Content?) to be copied.

Yes you are right, it's a very simple process on where to drag the folders to. Could it be that I don't have some of the required assets for the route to show up?

That's why I got to thinking that maybe I don't have some specific routes or other assets for this route to work. Can you tell me what the Folkston Route requires?

I was reading back through the thread and saw this regarding dependencies, dated Jun 27, 2015. Nothing new as far as updates though to my knowledge.

This is an early alpha so expect minor issues and missing scenery, I'm more interested in whether or not the route can be installed and run on another computer. I'm hosting the file on my personal Google Drive so I'm sure download limits will be reached, just be patient and wait for it to become available again.

DO NOT redistribute the route in its original or an altered form. Link back to this post if you feel like sharing outside of RWA.

I look forward to some constructive feedback (don't worry you won't hurt my feelings, I'm doing this for fun). Just download, unzip, and paste the Railworks folder into your installation or use the RWTools installer. Enjoy!

Hi guys,

No updates on the route, I'm finishing my semester now and will be able to put a couple of days into it and expand north a bit farther hopefully up to Waycross with the scenery.

For those having trouble with the installer just drag and drop the Railworks folder to your installation and the files will drop in the correct place. The installer was made with RSTools in 2015 so there is a good chance it won't find the TS2017 directory and copy the files correctly. Dragging and dropping will merge folders not replace them so no need to worry about losing anything in your installation.

Still planning on getting it done before the release of TSW but it's unfortunate that it won't work with the new game. There are things in the route I'm not happy with so when TSW releases the route editor I will be starting again.

Best regards,

I'm looking forward to what you have in store. Your route will look even better with completed scenery. :D

Yea I understand how you feel Brother. It's hard to keep up with everything and have to do it all over again. In the meantime with TSW, take your time :). I can wait. This is the far best route and I'm enjoying it so far. !!*ok*!!
