Why I should use a 2CAT ? they don't use it !*don-know!* This is the Soldier Summit F40PH

Or is it the Metra version? The 2CAT is better to use as F40PH-2Cs utilized separate HEP engine generators as opposed to shaft driven HEPs off standard F40s. The F40PH-2CAT is pretty close to the F40PH-2C.

OpenRailer90, I for one am very pleased to see this repaint in progress, and am thankful that it's creator is giving her free time to make it.

Critiquing her choice of locomotive to paint this far into the process is not going to lead to anything constructive. If you want a Coaster repaint based off of a different loco then I suggest you download GIMP (it's free) and start practicing painting.

It is way easier to nit pick someone else's work than actually try to learn how to do it yourself. If I was Sibell I would tell him to go pound salt already.

If I look on pictures of Coaster's F40, they looks different to the 2CAT.
So why you think a 2CAT is the closest ? !*don-know!* And it isn't the Metra version, you know the Metra F40 looks different on the roof too.
And the SS F40 is the easiest engine to fit with child objects for the ditch lights, the marker lights and the AC unit on the roof.
And I agree to the others, if you don't confirm with that engine, don't use it after release, don't write here anything because it's not the ''right'' engine for you
and wait for Justin's F40-2CAT. I have nothing more to say.
