Guilford SD45

An SD45 repaint for the Portland Terminal Route. Still have a ways to go. And I need to figure out how to convert 4 digit auto-numbering to 3 digits, and have it centered under the cab window. That will be a battle for another day.

Getting a little closer. Trying to figure out the mapping on some of the smaller parts is a lesson in frustration.

I have spent well over a hundred hours doing repaints of the NS/NW SD 45. You will be much better off alpha-ing out the number boards and cab numbers, and repainting them directly. It is a 3 layer graphic, and I asked for help some time back, and could get no answer on it. And yes,I did lots of color "splashing" to figure out what was what on the main map to figure out the details. Best of luck.

Thank you. I think I'll need it. Given that the Springfield Terminal only had a few of these units (9 or 10 I believe), it wouldn't be a big deal to paint the numbers on and have the entire roster. I'm going to finish getting everything repainted, and once that's done, I'll attack the numbering. Thanks!
