Nice Route! I've been so busy I didn't have a chance to D/L this until today. Very nice depiction of the desert and hills. I really like your treatment of the rocks and such.

Yes, I've only just acquired the RWA, and this is a fantastic little route. So simple, yet, very effective, a nice leisurely drive from one built up area to the next, lots of switching to do in the towns and then a haul on the mainline, and it's double track, so, we can have passing trains, brilliant, absolutely wonderful, lovely ground textures, vegetation, and the set out of each town is very thoughtful and nicely done. Thank you very much Admiral, and well done, you've just promoted yourself with this offering...... !*roll-laugh*! !*salute*!

I've been working on a new update, and I think I'm getting close to a release. Here are the changes;

Image
All of the mainline signals on the route have been replaced with older-style searchlights. Probably not entirely accurate to the 90's timeframe or the railroad, but I'll live. They're from RCAP so it's important that it's installed.

Image
Throughout all of the route I've improved the foliage, with lots of desert bushes and freeware cacti.

Image
I've also added two new sections of the route, the South City branchline to the south of Arlington, and the Western Shores branchline.

Image
The South City has a handful of sidings to switch cars at-- this area is about the same number of sidings as the Oasis industry park, except with larger radius curves and higher capacity sidings.

Image
The Western Shores branch climbs uphill to an oilfield on the west coast of the Starlight Sea. It's not very long or elaborate, but you might get some mileage out of running trains between here and the yard at Arlington.

There are some other minor track changes made, such as a turntable and small service yard at Lewistown. I'm hoping these changes will make running local freights or switching more enjoyable.

I haven't been slacking with the motive power, however.

Image
High hood GP9; quick and easy paint swap. I recommend using one of these for switching, while using the low noses for the heavy hauls.

Image
Updated paint for the RDCs; the old ones were not very good and done before I finalized the ALRR paint scheme. These will replace the current paints for both the RDC-1 and RDC-3.

It's really awesome to see just how far this route has come.

I'm basically done and only tweaking things at this point. I'm going to wait to upload this until after TS2016 comes out, just to make sure things work right. In the meantime, here are some more screenshots.

It's in the library, yippee...... *!!thnx!!*

Brilliantly designed, even more to do now that you've placed some extra industrial sidings in, fantastic, and the desert foliage is a nice touch, this route's outstanding, well done, indeed.
My only suggestion is that on the straight bits you could increase the line speed to maybe 70mph, especially, for passenger trains, just a thought. !!*ok*!!
