When creating a scenario, you're given an drop-down option on where to start.

Can't you snap it back to the ground with the "J" key?

Confused I am. !**conf**!

Does any of these routes, released or proposed, include the Tehachapi Loop?

No, the loop is North of Mojave toward Bakersfield.

I believe the route in question extends the mainline from Colton to Barstow and Mojave, but also contains the Trona (Lone Pine) branch to the northeast. My own version is from Mojave to Bakersfield and includes the loop.

I have just donwloaded this extended Cajon Pass. Now I can drive SP trains over the Palmdale Cutoff through the canyon I believe.

Hack, your route is al WIP, but should come with the Loop, that's great. I still cannot resist to look from the cab window in Run 8 everytime the head end of my train goes over its tail at Walong.

Has Mojave, Barstow, Yermo, San Bernadino and West Colton ...including the Colton Tower crossover. Even has the power substation spur off of the Palmdale cuttoff near the Cajon summit.

It says Trona in the file name, but the track barely goes out of Mojave towards it. Extremely short! It's there mainly just to represent the spur off the main line.

This route does include the BNSF Lucerne Valley sub (spur) going east out of Hesperia. Also north of that is an eastward spur to a quarry.

Then it includes the north and south spurs to the mines near Boron and the spur onto Edwards AFB as well. Pretty big route overall! !*drool*!

The Putman route does go all the way to Trona. See Soda_Ash.7z in the scenario section.

Sent you a PM with a map picture.

EDIT/UPDATE!!!

Thanks to Blue Light..... I had an older version of the route from 2012 that hadn't completed the Trona tracks. Otherwise my old version had everything else. So yes.... it does go all the way there. !!*ok*!!

Otto has a tendency of throwing up the latest version of a WIP route and I missed downloading the final version of it. *!embar*!
