I have the blueprints.pak. But how do I open it into the asset editor?

You should put my Peterbuilt semi onto a flat car as a child object like this.

I am afraid that is not the right file. Did you create these models yourself? If so you will have .xml blueprint files and .igs files in a 'Source' folder inside your railworks installation. If you aren't the original creator, you won't have these files. Note that .xml files that you generate with SERZ are not the originals, and will not work.
