Here you are two airships from the early 1930's. The zeppelin airship had a rigid frame and used giant gas bags to stay aloft.

The set includes two airships, one a passenger airship and the other a cargo airship.

Amazing work, JP. Really cool!

The item is now available in the file library.

It probably would be more realistic with a swastica.

The US Navy had a number of squadrons as well.

I'm currently working on a swastica.

But I still have a long ways to go before it will be finished.



For the flying aircraft carrier version though I'm going to suspend biplanes off the bottom as well as if they were being lowered from the ship for takeoff.

JP, that's the flying game, "Crimson Skies" They had an airship that could launch and retreive aircraft. Amazing game, I should see if it works on Win 7. Time to break out my flight stick!

I'll play flight sim just as soon as they introduce a dragon and dragon rider for the player to use.

Dude, that's "Avatar"! If you want, I'll gift it to you. Most amazing game ever. (movie in 3D was also just awesome) Or "Eragon" (movie) if you want dragons.

I am the original author of the model. The model was made in Sketchup by myself.

Don't need it anyways, my computer can't support it very well. I actually have enough trouble with Railworks and Sims 3, Sims 3 graphics are awful on my computer


And what is a swastica by the way, is it a certain model of airship, if not I have no idea what it is.

Oh, come on, JP, the swastika was the German Cross. Nazi symbol.
