WIP for a future release.
From the Portland Terminal diesels rolling stock, I'm in the process of repainting a GP40 locomotive, as these two images shows the preliminary WIP.

»»» Important info needed to continue with additional B&M schemes. I would like to repaint this GP40 with the following logo scheme and different numbers placed at top of main body and inversing the number board (white numbers on black background), as showned by :

My questions to RELOCATE the engine nos. from cabside to top of engine body : !!*ok*!!
1. Is this operation feasable ?
2. If so, In which .bin files are these numbers given its location ?
3. Does anyone know the procedure or have a sample code to share ?
Any help, would be greatly appreciated and I'm willing to put whatever time it requires, as I do not know where to start or what changes have to be made. !*hp*!

Thanks in advance,
Bernard

Looks like the easiest thing would be to disable the auto numbering and then paint the road numbers as static. Change the number.cvs to only have the loco number in your repiant so it will show in game with the number designated. As for doing autonumbering, Kali had some posts about doing this with decals. He might be able to help if you go this route.
I take your clean locomotives and make them dirty!

Yeah, might even be able to reuse the ones off the GP9 I posted somewhere; I don't have enough spare time to do anything myself though.
