Exquisite graphics. !*brav*! Do you give lessons ?

This is the perfect example where a plea (as the need is urgent) is to show the importance of talented contributors and where the «virtual RR industry» does little, if not put barriers, to help and PROVIDE TOOLS for people who are a good advertising medium for their basic product. Let's face it, the Kuju team is buzy enough with their own software as to updates (that are in a crying NEED) and new Addons to keep up the cash flow, sometimes questionable in quality (i.e. The Donner Addon Pack); and they do not have the talent to compete and offer a decent 3D modelling package and why should they ?

A better option, wherby every one woud be beneficiaries, would be if Kuju where to offer solid, efficient converters - both for 2D graphics and more important simple, robust and INTUITIVE conversion tools for existing 3D modelling software that are in use by the majority of us and cannot afford the Ferrari of the 3D industry - 3Dmax.

Why ? simple. we have a good historic expl. It is MSTS. Look at the library at the overall massive contribution by talented people who love what this hobby represents and are willing to share generously. A WIN-WIN combination and payware contributors do not dwindle!

I am opening Pandora's box and hopelly someone else may share my concern *!!thnx!!*

You are aware that Kuju is not the owners/developers of RW, aren't you? *!!wink!!*
They gave it up a long time ago.

This cab kit looks great!
I wonder if it is compatible with the TaD US Locomotive Enhancement pack?

I did forget in the «heat» of writing my message. My view of the situation, withstanding who the "proper" owner/developer, remains - IT APPLIES TO ALL ! Microsoft/Kuju partnership with MSTS was no better and I can't vouch for the other developers as I do not have any installed. One only needs to read the various boards and see all the problems that exist and PERSIST.

That is why «Open software» has a merit - it adapts to needs or fills a void, while not perfect !!*ok*!!

I second everybody here: looks awesome indeed! !*brav*! **!!bow!!**

Today I'm working in the SD70 pack, but tomorrow I'll test the compatibily with LEP. If is changing only texture there will be no problem, in theory. But LEP has cablights within the cab and I need to check how the new photo real textures reacts when lighted up. I don't understand of re-paints and textures, but as everybody is seeing, old RW2 paints don't looks good when you lit them up with the new RW3 lighting feature. The thing of new shaders...

Cheers,
Doc.
