Cimarron & Pacific Phase 2 install

Phase 2 of the Cimarron & Pacific RR is ready for release. I haven't submitted it to the file library yet,

hoping to get confirmation from a few of you that the release files are ok.

Railworks Phorum Penninsula charity DLC, on Steam. I used more than just the NG tracks from Phorum
Penninsula. If you don't install this, you will be missing on quite a few objects and structures across

Hi Gary, yesterday I tried installing your whole package, and it wouldn't load. Today, I just downloaded the new route rwp, and installed it, and the route works. Looks awesome too. Thanks for your efforts.

It loads up now. I can hardly wait to run it as soon as the bride feeds me. Good job on whatever it needed. !*brav*!

Running just part of the route so far but GREAT. Computer doesn't want to spit up and everything is going great. Oh should I mention this is really a good capture of the SW dessert. !*salute*!

I just ran a U.S. Army troop train from Cimarron to Big Tooth Camp (1930). The 3rd Army has a mounted cavalry training base there. In addition to occasional troop trains, the base needs weekly shipments of supplies and stock trains to transport the horses.

Congratulations on an excellent route that is fun to operate. The scenery is realistic and everything works as it should. I highly recommend the C&P.

hey what steamer is recomended the best for climbing this route, and what is the max length of the trains allowable here, i tryed with the 2-8-0 consolidation that came with the challanger but it seems to stall out a few miles up the line, i only had 1 34ft boxcar, 1 40ft boxcar, 1 tank car, 1 flat car, 1 loaded 30ft gondola, a small caboose and a combine car, in my opinion that isn't a very big train for this loco to handle......although i do find that the steam locos loose their boiler pressure way too easly in the sim? or maby they just don't generate enough??? i can pull that train with the shay but its way too slow for my likeings untill i get up to the coal mine......any help would be greatly appretiated! !*salute*!

I use the 4-4-0 and 2-8-0 found here in the RWA File Library. Both locos have handled 8-9 cars from Cimarron to Ute.

I've used the Consolidation with that many cars. It is critical to keep your boiler pressure up. You have to monitor steam usage vs steam generation carefully, and keep generation generally greater than usage.

On the Baldy Branch, my Shay B can push 4-5 empties up to Miranda Staging Yard. From there, I generally push two at a time the rest of the way to Baldy. Coming down - well that's a whole different story!

And it's the same grade from Ute Park to Eagles Nest as from Cimarron to Ute Park.
