jpetersjr,

This is a very nicely done mobile home! Would you consider doing a few more in different colors?

Yes, plan on doing more as soon as I get more time, at the moment also working on another trailer body, one from the 60's.

Trailer 2 Progress 1.jpg

Now, if someone could make some 50's, 60's and 70's U.S cars and trucks for the game the scene could start to be built up.

Here's one version of it finished, it will be included in a set of classic trailers.

jp, if there was a screened in patio on the side of that, it would be a dead ringer for my grandparent's mobile in Phoenix! Looks great! Wish I could find a picture for you but coming up empty searching. Sorry.

Nice job. With the gabled roof, this resembles models of the past 10 years. If you could make one with a "flat" roof (they're not exactly flat but pretty close) this would resemble the "Oakwood Homes" models of the late 80's and 90's. And yes, a tiny porch or small screen patio would add some variety and even more realism.

I'll also make a model like that.

Here's another completed version, with shutters.

That's true... in every town the most redneck'y houses (I can say that, mine is one! *!lol!* ) are always on "Railroad Avenue"! !*roll-laugh*!

That last one looks like my grammy's house (before the gabled roof was installed to stop the leaks). The steps are right too. However, these days the building inspector will bust your butt and refuse the final permit for having steps like that. No problem though - i'll just slip him some virtual money and we'll be good to go!

Thanks for your work on these. I've got flat land in Cohutta thats just beggin for a trailer park!

Yep! Now-a-days, if stairs aren't built with a rise of 7 3/4" - 8 1/4", a step of 9" - 10" (with a max overhang of 1 1/4" - 1 1/2"), and handrails - tear 'em down and start again. *!rolleyes!*

I have plenty more of this set to come, including some more filthy, rusted and more with shutters. These types of trailer homes were normally built in the 1950's, 60's and 70's. My grandfather bought one like this brand new in the early 1970's up in Durand Michigan.

Also, if someone has some textures of a old tire I'll make a stack of old tires for the clutter area.
