Delta_Coach

This model is a fictional Delta Lines reskin of the Heavyweight Wooden Commuter Coach included with the freeware Bessemer & Lake Erie route. The BLE route can be download from the Railworks America library. I operate the Mississippi Route by Zawal as the Delta Lines.

In an effort to cut costs and deal with declining ridership, the Delta Lines purchased a couple of Gas-Electric Motorcars from Electro-Motive in 1940. The motorcars were paired with commuter coaches that had served the New Orleans area for years. Unfortunately, the motorcars and their wood coaches were not very popular with the locals. One set operated daily between New Orleans and Vicksburg, Mississippi. The second set was assigned to service between Memphis and Vicksburg.

After unzipping, run RW_AssetSetup to install the model. The unit will be installed to Assets\G-TraX\BLE\RailVehicles\Passenger\P66A\DELTA\. In the scenario editor it will be listed as “Delta Passenger Coach.”

This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
