This model is a Columbia Valley Pacific Railway reskin of the payware Machine Rail Illinois Central Lima Mikado Bundle. You must purchase and install the base model for this reskin to operate. Download the payware model here:

https://www.machine-rail.com/product-pa ... rrency=USD

Installation instructions:

1-Copy the folder:

Assets\MachineRail\Illinois Central 1500 Class\RailVehicles\Steam\1500

2-Paste it into the original folder and rename it to:

Assets\MachineRail\Illinois Central 1500 Class\RailVehicles\Steam\CVP

3-Run RW_AssetSetup.exe to install the reskin and be sure to allow files to be over-written.

The loco is listed as “[MR] CVP Mikado Engine” and “[MR] CVP Mikado Tender” in the Scenario Editor.

This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.

For some reason I do not have engine sounds. No chuffs, whistle or bell, squeaks from valves turning or noise from windows sliding inside or outside the cab. Inside the Steam folder I have 2 folders 1500 and CVP. I have gone through the installation procedure 2 times with the same result. One other weird thing the CVP tender will not couple to the 1500 M locomotive it passes through.

Go inner and see if there is an Audio folder or any other name with .dav files inside those two folders you mention.

I have fixed it by this method. Within Railworks/Assets/MachineRail/Illinois Central 1500 Class/Audio/RailVehicles/Steam/ I created another folder called CVP and copied and pasted the Machine and Whistle folders from the 1500 folder to the CVP folder. The 1500M now couples with the tender

The process is to copy the 1500 folder and paste it into the Railworks/Assets/MachineRail/Illinois Central 1500 Class/Audio/RailVehicles/Steam folder. Rename 1500 - Copy to CVP. Then, run the AssetSetup file and allow files to overwrite.
