AEM-7 & Amfleet Car Upgrade Pack 2.5

This pack is a complete rework of the Amtrak Phase V AEM-7 locomotive and its Amfleet I cars. For this pack to work you must install the “Northeast Corridor: New York - Philadelphia Route Add-On”, which you can buy here:

Version 2.5 Changes:

- Tweaked the rolling sounds on the locomotive.
- Tweaked the air brakes “hiss” sound on the Amfleet cars, so it sounds a bit different than on the Superliners.

AEM-7 Locomotive (Phase V):

- Amtrak Blue on the roof and around the windshields
- Platinum Mist body
- Amtrak Red sill stripe and pantographs
- Anthracite Gray underbody

Amfleet I Cars (Phase VI):

- Stainless Steel Body
- Amtrak Red and white pin stripes
- Amtrak Blue stripe
- Amtrak Red sill stripe
- Black underbody (Untouched)
- Higher resolution “Northeast Regional” logo on the Café car

NOTE:
If you try to tinker with the power settings in the engine’s configuration file, please bear in mind that according to the “Train Simulator Developer Documentation” (Available here: http://tscdevdocs.co.uk/reference-manual/blueprint-editor/diesel-simulation-blueprints/diesel-electric-subsystem.html#TOC-Diesel-Electric-Subsystem), engine power values are expressed in kW and tractive effort in kN.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Go to your Rail Works directory
(Typically: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks).

2. Drop the “Assets” folder in the directory (Overwrite the previous version).

3. Make sure that you set the in-game “Ambient Occlusion” to, at least, the “Low” setting (Preferably “Dynamic”).

And that’s ALL you have to do.
