I think I have this critter about ready to go shortly. L&N might have had a clean locomotive somewhere in the distant past but I never saw one. In any event this is dedicated to the great late tntrainer a special guy.

I've read a ton of articles on weathering HO scale diesels but have never been able to apply those concepts to a mouse.

That is a nice unit. Anyway I retired 4 months ago and I am getting in touch some of you so I have someone to talk with.

An old friend of mine who was a few years older than me (sadly passed) once told me "the worst thing about retirement is that you have to read your paper and drink your coffee in your own time". He was right.

I do know what you mean. Start a pot of coffee, go out to the shop and light a fire in the wood stove to warm it up, back inside to have breakfast then back to the shop to see how much sawdust I can make, all in my own time. Even more kick back since my heart attack on August 9th.
