You can find the asset pack on my website as NYC_WLR Assets.
So when you check at Big J Productions you can find the pack there, enjoy.
I'll be looking forward to seeing what you build with these assets, would be nice to have some place to run the Hudsons, or perhaps even the PRR steamers. Any place would be nice to run Darlan's steamers.

Credit however goes to myself Jonathan Burton Peters Jr And John (Aircoaster) whom helped to make the asset pack possible. Most likely I'll never get to finishing the Water Level Route, but these are the assets I made.
...Cheers...

Could some of these be utilized to give HSC a facelift? Not saying I'm anywhere near the right person to try. Just throwing it out there.
Problem comes when you want to put something on the steam workshop. Not that anyone says these are bad but you loose out on a massive convenience being able to put a route and scenarios on the workshop immediately in front of millions of train sim players

Yep, but you would need to also change the roads.
...Well, that's why RWA has a file library, if no one is going to use any assets such as these because you can't put them on the steam workshop why make them in the first place. I don't have time to play games, I have books to write.
...And yes, roads are included.
...Cheers...

Ok good. I will take what interests me for my future route.
I can't guarantee that she will be in New York because that would be too much work for a single man, large cities are complicated to reproduce, I leave that to DTG.
I'm going to stick with a country road instead, but it will be in New York County.
A+

Edit:
I'm sorry but I just downloaded your package and once installed nothing appears in the game !!
When I select one of your assets it is completely invisible.
Didn't you forget something?

Being a native New Yorker myself, I can assure you there is a whole lot of small towns and small cities that are a lot easier to wrap your head around than New York City. Some are quite beautiful quaint little towns.
We like to harass foreigners and out of state people from time to time when they forget New York State up north on its own is a little bigger by area than England.

Yes, if you wanted you could base a route through there, included in the pack are also a bunch of row buildings as well.
Did you click on NYC_Team in the editor in your provider folder, this isn't under Big J or jpetersjr?
Either way we'll figure it out.
...Edit...
I repackaged the file and re-uploaded it, you can try downloading it again. But you will definitely have to click on the assets in the editor, there's no reason why they shouldn't show up.
...Cheers...

Enjoy.
Perhaps for starters you should extend some of the other 30's route from 11 miles to something longer.

I never go back to the route I have built, I build new ones, it's easier!
When you stop something and want to pick it up later or the motivation is gone or you don't know how to work anymore.
Each road is different and coming back to it after a while is complicated, the pose of the assets is not done in the same way on all the roads, especially for the vegetation!.
Moreover, I avoid roads of more than 30 miles, it's already long enough to do and as said above, the motivation leaves you quite quickly on TS.
The bugs of the editor (save dup and other crap) are quite boring, you work and then all of a sudden the game crashes and you lose 1 hour or 30 minutes of work, it's very very annoying.
Editing a route is very daunting, you feel the boredom coming after a while, that's also why I make routes rather short but well detailed.
You know, 20 or 30 miles is fun if the road is well done.
You can even do a 10 mile one right in town like I did for "New Orleans" where I chose all or part of the freight.
The number of miles doesn't matter, it's the playing time that matters to me.
The steam train routes do not need to be too long, the speed is not high and then anyway after 30 minutes I fall asleep!
I looked at all your assets on a test line and there are some nice things, I still see that they are exclusively assets for the city.
Goodbye .

Yes, the New York Central was known to be a fast route, at least 60-70 mph in area's. They ran on semi-flat terrain anyway, so they could easily be able to get up to a decent speed. And on the New York Central were a lot of big towns, or small cities.

hi
I really like all your assets, don't forget that I didn't promise anything and that it's only this little bit that I will do.
A few miles in 1930 right in the heart of the big apple to pick up some freight cars....

I usually believe that about 20 miles, or possibly up to 30 would be enough to give users a place to run at speed...However, there isn't a time limit, you can do such route at your own pace, it doesn't have to be finished anytime soon...Anyway, it's looking good.
