This model is an Atlantic Bay Terminal Railroad repaint of the Dogmouse Alco S2 switcher. I repainted it for switching operations on the Atlantic Bay Terminal route. It represents the first batch of diesels the MIRR purchased in 1949. As the 1000 hp S2’s arrived, the 0-8-0 and 0-6-0 steam switchers were retired. The switching crews immediately fell in love with these units and they gave many years of faithful service.

To operate this model, you must install the Alco S2 model found on the Railworks America website (http://www.railworksamerica.com/ ). It’s a great model that you will really enjoy.

Unzip and install using the included RW_AssetSetup.exe installer. In the scenario editor it is listed as: “Alco S2 ABT”.

I hope you enjoy the repaint. Many thanks to Dogmouse for an exceptional model and a great repainters kit.

Harry, any chance of a SW900/1200 and an Alco RS3 or 11 for the ABT?
