In light of the recent happenings surrounding this route and the bandwidth limitations, here's an alternate download link. You will need the 7-zip program or winRAR to extract the file. A readme text file with installation instructions can be found within. Happy driving:

Hi,

This is most likely a very welcome upload but I must also say that I have mixed feelings about this "backup download". The intention was certainly good, but how it was done not so much. Allow me to elaborate:

The new B&LE / Penn Steam is freeware, but that does not imply "free to do with as you please". You can keep the file and link online, I'm not miffed by the fact that it's there.

For future reference, and I want to address this to everybody here at RWA and not just FanRailer, please stick to the (written and unwritten) community rule of asking the author(s) before redistributing their work, be it in modified like a repaint or unmodified form like this download.

Chances are high that developers walk away in disgust if we stop adhering to this simple but important rule and that would a great loss to all of us. I've seen it happen at other modding sites.

Cheers!
Michael

Thank you Michael. Love this Route. Thank you for allowing the Alternate Link. Us old timers understand your point and would do nothing to allow any distribution of your hard work.

I'm in total agreement with this!
