Looks good Cecil.

I wonder, did Baldwin make a 4,4,0 without cowcatcher in the front, or plow.

Modernized 4-4-0

Unread postby harryadkins » Fri May 06, 2011 10:24 am

Your locomotives are great and I really enjoy operating them. They would be even more awesome if you offered a modernized version of both with a steel cab, updated headlights, a footboard pilot and a straight stack (for the 2-8-0). It looks like you already have those textures packaged with your model. Thanks for sharing your good work with the community.

Hi thecanadianrail
I only have 6 more miles of track to lay and that will take east from Field to Hector.I still have another 17 miles of track laid to Field but am waiting to see when this new procedure of place multiple items in the scene and having them conform to mountain terrain. It is a lot of hard and time consuming work to populate the area with trees ,especially on mountain sides On another topic I see that you are in Dauphin manitoba. 78 years ago I was born in Neepawa .Lived there for 17 years then moved to BC

Hi harryadkins
I could make them a bit more modern but then they wouldn't fit in my route I am building. My route is from Hector BC to Revelstoke BC in the days that CPR pushed the route down the Kicking Horse pass and up and over the Selkirk (1884/1885) to Revelstoke. Thats why they have wooden cabs and are wood burners
