Unread postby harryadkins » Wed Jan 20, 2016 5:20 pm

This model is an Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe reskin of Michael Stephan’s freeware 40ft PRR K7a Stock Car. The basic pack can be downloaded at http://www.stephan-michael.de/railsim/p ... rrk7a.html.

Run the RW_AssetSetup file to install the model. In the scenario editor the model is listed as: “Stock Car ATSF Cattle”. This model is installed into: Assets\ GreatNortherner\SteamEra\RailVehicles\Freight\40ft-Stock_PRR-K7A\ATSF\.

The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway (ATSF) was one of the larger railroads in the United States. Chartered in February 1859, the railroad reached the Kansas-Colorado border in 1873 and Pueblo, Colorado, in 1876. To create a demand for its services, the railroad set up real estate offices and sold farm land from the land grants that it was awarded by Congress. Despite the name, its main line never served Santa Fe, New Mexico, as the terrain was too difficult; the town ultimately was reached by a branch line from Lamy.

The railroad officially ceased operations on December 31, 1996, when it merged with the Burlington Northern Railroad to form the Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway.
This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
