The Thomasville Railroad is a fictional virtual system created by my good friend, Thomas J. Pearce. Thomas produces a fine line of Pennsylvania Railroad passenger and freight cars through his Broadway Limited Locomotive Works website (http://www.bllw.net/). He has been an invaluable resource for me as I continue to develop my graphics skills.
The TVRR is mostly a coal hauler / bridge route, providing service to Pittsburgh via trackage rights between Washington, PA, and Pittsburgh on the Mon Valley RR. It also has tracks into West Virginia and Virginia to tap mines around Coal Fork, WV, and as far down as the N&W at Bluefield, WV. Service also reaches into Ohio and as far west as Chicago. Most of the traffic base consists of coal, some passenger service, and a hefty dose of bridge traffic. It operates tank trains through a joint trackage routing between the Mon Valley System and our own lines. Another line for ore traffic allows trackage rights onto the B&LE to access Ashtabula's docks. The ore operates as a unit train down to Thomasville Steel's plants.
This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
