Latest version of Sparks_Reno

Unread postby ChuckF » Mon Dec 06, 2010 1:14 am

Hi! I've just uploaded V1.5 of Sparks_Reno, and it will be in the library shortly. All the work is in the 37 miles east of sparks. The next version will move westward through Reno and towards Truckee. Cheers; Chuck F.

Hi! This route goes from Fernley in the east, to Truckee in the west and Chilcoot in the northwest. It will be the connector route to both the Donner Pass and Feather River Canyon, both routes other people said they were going to do. Cheers; Chuck F.

I hope you can make to my neck of the woods (or bay :D ) specifically, and I am giving away my locale here, the Fremont/Niles area. Lots of history here with the SP.

Did you change your mind about releasing v1.5? !*don-know!*

It's coming. Give me about an hour.
Chuck had a bit of a problem uploading it and I didn't get it until late yesterday, and I just woke up so I'll get it added shortly. !*salute*!

Edit 1: OK! It's up and ready. !*cheers*!

Good Day Chuck,

I've downloaded your route OK, also inside the RAR zip folder was a Read Me, but, it wasn't a document, it was similar to a .rwp and therefore I cannot open it. Any chance you can tell us what it says in the Read Me, please, as I want to know if there are any extra assets I need to obtain before I get stuck into your route.

EDIT: I've checked the layout in my RW Tools, and it has come up with a few queries.

There is no route template enclosed in the zip folder, can we use the one that was in your other original layout, will that work, do ya think?

There are also some missing content assets :-

Great Northener\allegheny\scenery\clutter\spare wheels.bin
Willburton\Stockton\railnetwork\transferpoints\steelcrane\steelbeams.bin also steelcoil.bin and steelcoil3.bin and freight steel crane.bin
John Lippai\NS NewRiver Districts\scenery\buildings\nrd_lawsonwarehouse_bldg2.bin

Any idea where one may find these items please?

Thanks.

You can open the read me with Notepad, even though it doesn't have a txt extension.
